HEAR DENSE & PIKA’S TOP 10 AHEAD OF DRUMCODE IN DERRY

To coincide with their new release on the label, Drumcode-affiliates Dense & Pika have published a new Beatport chart. The three-track EP released at the beginning of August is another accolade in their growing catalogue. The title track Suki features really distinctive keys, while Little Sun features that trademark Drumcode sound and has been setting-off dancefloors all summer. Finally Lanky completes the package with a raw and funky vibe. The chart also features music from Matt Sassari, Dorisburg & Konrad Black. We’re expecting to hear a few of these at Ebrington Square on Sunday!

Earlier this summer the British duo were embroiled in some controversy after an interview with Ibiza Voice was picked-up by a third party publication. Several of their words were used out of context and reprinted in a negative light. It wasn’t long before label-head, Adam Beyer weighed in on the debate, leaping to the defence of his artists. Lazy sensationalist journalists and elitist fans with only negative things to say were amongst those in the firing line. Glad we got that sorted, then! You don’t mess with the boss.

Scene-politics aside, we know from experience that this duo let the music do the talkin’!
