INNERVISIONS ANNOUNCE ROYAL ALBERT HALL LINE-UP AND IT'S SPECTACULAR

Last month it was announced that LWE and Innervisions were teaming up to bring an exclusive electronic music showcase to London’s hallowed Royal Albert Hall. Having seldom featured electronic music, far less DJs, this was a history-making show of biblical proportions. Now the line-up has been announced – and it’s living up to expectations!

Label co-founder Frank Wiedemann of Âme will play one of his pronounced live sets. To be joined by more guests on the day, Frank will recreate Âme’s impressive back catalogue in the moment, including material from their recently released album Dream House – an epithet of Royal Albert Hall if ever we heard one!

Dixon’s accolades proceed him. Even in the absence of RA’s shelved Top DJ poll, his legend continues to grow. That his stature has grown whilst seldom giving interviews, releasing mixes and having humble, yet exceptional, output, speaks volumes. Arguably it is as the head of Innervisions where he has excelled the most – pushing the label to the forefront of electronic music. It wouldn’t be as decorated without him and it’s only right he takes his place at Royal Albert Hall where he’ll line-up alongside Kristian Beyer – the other half of Âme – for an exclusive B2B.

Wiedemann elaborates on his perfectionist qualities by appearing as part of a second live act in Howling, his collaborative project with Ry X. A third live act, Henrik Schwarz means the big names keep coming. Schwarz has toured the globe extensively, from clubs and festivals to theatres and stages. Having dabbled with classical music as well as house, he is the bridge that connects the two disciplines together – and will slot perfectly in at Royal Albert Hall amid their storied alumni. He’ll be joined by a special guest TBA.

Finally, Marcus Worgull is the final DJ on the bill. An increasing pivotal member of the roster, Worgull creates dreamy soundscapes – fitting well within the remit of electronic music’s most auteur record label.

There’s still room on the bill for visual artists and choreographed dancer Nina Kurtela, who will likely be responsible for projecting her unique stamp on proceedings.

This is an Innervisions’ line-up in the truest sense of the word, exploring every corner of their signature sound. Fair to say, this is going to live up to its ground-breaking billing.
