INTRODUCING: AGENTS OF TIME LIVE

On 1st January 2018, LWE marks the fifth New Year’s Day event at Tobacco Dock with a truly special line-up. Over the past four years LWE have brought a broad spectrum of house & techno’s best to Tobacco Dock, and the first day of 2018 will be no different. Next year’s line-up includes talent ranging from techno legends Floorplan, Roman Flügel, Ø[Phase], Alan Fitzpatrick, KiNK, Nastia and Agents of Time to name a few.

For those who aren’t familiar, Agents of Time are Adrea Di Caglie, Fedele Ladisa and Luigi Tutolo, an Italian trio who formed in 2013. A year later they released their debut album Spread The Word on British label Stern Records, firmly establishing themselves as consummate ambient techno producers.

The same year they went on to release two more EPs, Lost Dreams on Stern Records, and Polina on Correspondant –receiving support from the likes of Tale of Us, Dixon, Tiga, Agoria, John Digweed, Stephan Bodzin and Miss Kittin. By this time the trio had gigs almost every weekend all over Europe and South America, making them one of the year’s success stories, and certainly one of the most desirable new acts to see. In 2016, they were invited to release the EP Magma on Maceo Plex’s label Ellum –which took the DJ charts by storm - and track Obsidian which landed them an iconic dancefloor anthem. The trio have produced back to back material since the beginning, solidifying the uniqueness of their ambient techno sound, which is a breath of fresh air in today’s oversaturated 4/4 scene.

As a live act, Agents of Time improvise with analog instruments, making each show a unique one-of-a-kind experience, as well as demonstrating their passion to perform with freedom and without the inherent limitations of pre-recorded material. This has led to them performing internationally at renowned festivals such as Amsterdam’s Awakenings, DGTL and ADE, Germanys Melt festival, Belgiums Tomorrowland and Morocco’s Oasis festival to name a few.

Agents of Time bring their pioneering live show to London on New Year’s Day for the first time since May.
