Printworks London has announced it’s that its next series is set to run between October and December 2017 and promises more bars, more acts and more music. Don’t forget to register here to be the first to know about the opening party.
Issue 002 will feature a genre-spanning series of events, including more house, techno, electro, drum ‘n’ bass, as well as a number of live performances. Although we’re unsure who will actually perform across the sophomore series, we’re still expecting big things, with the likes of Nina Kraviz, Luciano, Seth Troxler, Adam Beyer, Maya Jane Coles, Paul Kalkbrenner, Ben Klock and many more playing the debut series earlier in the year.
In anticipation, here are three of our favourite moments from Issue 001. We can’t wait to be back in there!
Launch party w/ Seth Troxler B2B The Martinez Brothers B2B Loco Dice
What could possibly be better than the launch of a new 3000 capacity club in a former printing factory? Especially when you’ve got three of the planets biggest DJs embarking on an extended back-to-back session. Seth ended the night perfectly by ending on a London classic, Weak Become The Heroes by The Streets creating a real spine tingling moment for all those in attendance.
Chicago house legend and Acid Trax originator DJ Pierre delivered arguably the best set of the entire series. Blending the lines between house, heavy techno and fruity tech house, Pierre has the entire crowd in the palm of his hands, taking them through a journey whilst performing eclectically.
Photon custom lighting
Ben Klock launched his new brand Photon at Printworks. Focusing the show around the lights, sound and general production, the venue underwent serious changes with a mega light installation being provided to accompany the heavy hitting soundtrack, provided by Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Etapp Kyle and Planetary Assault Systems. A very special moment to be remembered by Printworks goers as Issue 001 came to an epic end.
