TOP 5: PALMS TRAX

Jay Donaldson, better known as Palms Trax has been making waves with his vintage sounding, Chicago house influenced grooves. His debut EP Equation, which came in the summer of 2013 via the Lobster Theremin imprint was lauded for it’s bouncy, melody infused take on house cribbing.

The success of Equation both put Lobster Theremin and Palms Trax on the map, with Donaldson releasing again on the label in 2014 with Effort and it wasn’t before long that the remix offers began pouring in from an impressive list of labels, including Hivern Discs, Final Chapter and Let’s Play House.

Not so surprisingly, 2017 see’s Palms Trax a part of one of Europes strongest rosters, Dekmantel, the Amsterdam based label that’s also home to Juju & Jordash, Vakula, Joey Anderson and Matrixxman.
