With We Are FSTVL having just released Phase 4 of their already gigantic 2018 line-up, we predict a few things which might go down at The Airfield of Dreams.

Berlin techno giant Ben Klock to bring along Berghain door staff to man the shuttle bus queue. Stepping off the train at Upminster and gawping at the seemingly endless queue of festival goers as it snakes around can fill even the most seasoned veteran with dread. It can be a battlefield! Filled with raucous attendees in high-spirits that festival season is finalllllly back underway, it’s all part of the experience. But this year organisers have drafted-in the world’s most intimidating and humourless security team to run a tight ship and crack the whip where needed. Ready to board? Nein!

After their main stage set on Sunday, Andy & Matt from Bicep will compete in a mini toughman contest. Compered by close friend Hammer, the whole tournament will be cast live via their Feel My Bicep online blog. Though the lads are natural favourites, Essex is well-renowned for being the birthplace of male grooming. And with gym membership subscriptions skyrocketing this month, it’s expected locals will provide some stiff competition. Rounds to include weight lifting, arm wrestling, mirror-posing and pout-offs. Rumours are also heavily circulating that the Belfast boys’ hospitality rider includes the instalment of a backstage gym, so they can pump iron for some last minute gains!

Eric Pyrdz’s management insist that the Terminal 1 structure isn’t extravagant enough. It’s an understatement to say Prydz is big on production. But the Swedish superstar’s latest list of demands include the addition of 10,000 extra LEDs, 50 canons of CO2 and a unlimited supply of Koppaberg (though, we think the last one is a bit of a cheek!) Might be a good idea to notify the national grid and get a dozen generators in as back-up, because this show could blow a fuse!

Celebrity clubber of the year, Bradley Gunn Raver to be kickin’-up a sandstorm front-centre of the Circoloco tent alongside some of the county’s most famous festival dwellers: Joey Essex, Kem from Love Island and Pixie Lott. Expect some serious rug to be cut with this group of misfits in town! 2-stepping to the likes of Seth Troxler, Joseph Capriati & Jackmaster.

Oz exports and stadium DNB gods Pendulum not just to play the We Are Bass arena on the Sunday, but set-up shop across the entire weekend as street food traders. Specialising in flame-grilled BBQ cuisine in true Aussie fashion, their delicacies from down-under will include kangaroo burgers, croc steaks and heaps of avo smash. Throw another shrimp on the Barbie and fill me schooner! But go easy on the sauce, or else you might attract the attention of el hornet. Strewth, mate!

All ticket types are on sale now.
