AME B2B RODHAD, AMELIE LENS & DIXON ANNOUNCED FOR JUNCTION 2 AT TOBACCO DOCK

It was always going to be big, and Junction 2 haven’t disappointed with the first wave of acts confirmed for their 2019 Launch Party. Taking place at Tobacco Dock on Saturday 29th December, in the absence of LWE NYD on 1st January this is the last opportunity to dance at London’s most celebrated venue until later in the new year.

Having established itself as the UK’s premier techno one-dayer in its first three years, Junction 2 is gearing up to be bigger, better, faster and stronger for its fourth edition. Past installments have seen the likes of Tale Of Us, Maceo Plex, Mano Le Tough, Len Faki and Nina Kraviz storm Boston Manor Park - so the bar has already set incredibly high.

For 2019’s launch, J2 calls on stars of the past and - we’re sure - some stars of the future.

After wowing fans this past week at the Royal Albert Hall for the most ambitious Innervisions show to date, label heads Dixon and Âme return to the capital. Who can forget their epic 6-hour B2B at this year’s festival. Dixon will be making his long-awaited debut at Tobacco Dock, playing an extended set, while his co-owner Kristian Beyer swaps his B2B partner for the techno viking, Rødhåd. Kristian is one of the few DJs who is capable of playing alongside anybody. After a few spars behind the booth in Europe, the pair lock-horns for the first time on UK soil for what is set to be a massive event.

Finally, the first artist announcement is completed with the addition of Amelie Lens. 2017 and 2018 have been giant years for the Belgian export, who just keeps getting bigger. Having found a home on Pan-Pot’s Second State and recently releasing on Drumcode for the first time, Lens’ uptempo floor-filling selections underline her soaring popularity. She’ll seduce you with a mesmerising whisper, before blowing you away with unrelenting drums and throbbing bass. She graced Tobacco Dock at Halloween last year, and did more than enough to warrant a return invite.

Four mega artists - and four more reasons to attend Junction 2 at Tobacco Dock in December.

Third release tickets are on sale now.
