On 28th July Birmingham’s biggest leading music, arts and culture event, MADE festival, returns for its fifth edition. In previous years they’ve hosted an array of home-grown talent and globally renowned artists such as Chase & Status, Giggs, Gorgan City, Sub Focus and My Nu Leng. Historically MADE has been based in Birmingham City creative quarter, but this year they’ve moved to a bigger site – a sign of how quickly the unique festival has grown over the past five years.
The first name announced on the line-up is legendary London DJ and garage phenomenon DJ EZ, a veteran who has been at the top of the game since virtually its inception. There are few DJs out there who are as well respected as EZ, he’s renowned for his powerful and creative mixes that never fail to get garage heads' pulses racing. Anyone who’s seen his Boiler Room sets or have caught him at his residency at Ushuaia in Ibiza last season will know how incredible his sets are.
The second headliner is no other than Drum & bass icon and RAM records label head Andy C who’ll bring his raw, untamed beats to the stage. Now boasting a career of over twenty years, he’s become perhaps the most legendary DnB and Jungle artist of all time. Andy has been a multi-award winning producer since the nineties, topping the charts with releases like ‘Origin Unknown Presents...Speed Of Sound’ which won Best Dance Album at Kiss FM Dance Awards in 1997. Andy has been producing solidly over the last twenty years but shows no signs of slowing down, evident from his most recent release ‘What Bass’ which came out last year, and his on-going tour schedule – already consisting of five international festivals this summer. Do not miss the opportunity to catch him at MADE festival this Summer.
First release tickets on sale very soon.
