Standon Calling Festival are oh-so-excited to be welcoming BBC Introducing for the very first time, to curate the line up in the Last Dance Saloon for the whole day on Saturday 1st August.
Five-piece rock band Amber Run to headline, alongside hotly tipped urban artists Nova Twins, electronic producer and multi-instrumentalist Attaque and 'international street brawler' Longy, hot off his recent Glastonbury performance. Singer songwriter Alice Walker will also perform as well as fun, indie-poppers Youth Club, alternative pop, singer-songwriter Natasha North and the soulful, jazz-inspired Kimberley Newell.
Standon founder, Alex Trenchard comments. "We're so pleased to have the BBC Introducing team curate one of our favourite stages at Standon and incredibly excited about the talent that is emerging from the surrounding areas. We're firm believers in supporting new and emerging talent and with a history of booking acts that go on to great things whether Florence & The Machine or Mumford & Sons, and we hope the eight selected artists will enjoy their time at Standon as much as we will undoubtedly enjoy their fantastic live performances.”
