25 years of Dread Recordings taking over Electric Brixton was already looking to be a stand-out event of 2019. But now the party on Saturday 19th October has taken things up a gear higher.
The special guests have now been revealed. Joining a plethora of D&B B2B talent is none other than Ben UFO and Joy Orbison playing a rare special Jungle/D&B set. Back-to-back, naturally. At first glance, it might seem like curveball choices but it isn’t so odd if you think about. The perennial crate-diggers leave no genre off the table when crafting their wide-reaching sets. We already know they have a rich musical palate. If you were to trace the origins of both artists back, you will see they are steeped in bass music. Ben UFO’s musical education stretched back to Leeds’ bass scene and Joy O’s uncle is... Ray Keith - say no more.
Catch the duo line-up alongside Bladerunner, Critical Impact, Brockie, Grooverider, Kenny Ken, Nicky Blackmarket and of course Ray Keith himself.
Third release tickets are on sale now.
