Two weeks ago Dimensions festival embarked on their sixth edition at the Croatian hideaway located in the abandoned Fort Punta Christo near Pula. The festivities kicked off on Wednesday 29th August at Pula’s 2000 year old ampitheatre, with a mind-blowing 3-D live performance from electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk. They were supported by live sets from Nils Frahm and Nubya Garcia, as well as DJ sets by Moodymann, Josey Rebelle and Debora Ipekel.

Throughout the weekdays there wasn’t a cloud in sight and temperatures soared to 30 degrees, bringing the heat and good vibes to the sun-kissed Beach stage. Our highlight from the beach was forward-thinking UK Jazz group Ezra Collective who brought heaps of energy and solo encores for everyone at sunset. The main festival took place from Thursday evening to Sunday evening, spread across eight stages and arenas, as well as boat parties setting sail throughout the day.

As with ever at this festival, there’s too many highlights to mention, but even in their sixth year, the programming and production standards managed to exceed their exceptional reputation.
