Hosted on one of over a dozen 200-year- old forts on the stunning Pula peninsula in Croatia, Dimensions festival is a staple for any serious party-goer’s summer calendar. If the dreamy location of piercing blue skies and scalding sun isn't enough, a fine quality of explosive sounds await those fortunate enough to attend.
Previous years have seen performances from the likes of Massive Attack, Moritz Von Oswald Trio FT Tony Allen and Max Loderbauer, Moodymann, Joe Claussell and more. The festival – now entering its 6 th edition running from August 30 – 4 September – provide daily boat parties and other leisurely activities. It accompanies any mood and feeling with chilled day-time beats helping any weary heads rejuvenate for the night's action.
Now the line-up for this summers extravaganza is here. The four nights include a host of world- beating talents. Across an array of electronica that includes house, techno, disco, dubstep, bass and experimental music, Jeff Mills, Theo Parrish, Marcel Dettmann, Nina Kraviz, Helena Hauff, Levon Vincent, Danny Krivit, Horse Meat Disco, Binh, Sadar Bahar, Conforce, dBridge, Randomer, Serge all comprise of some of the top names the festival has to boast.
The Hessle Audio trio of Ben UFO, Pangaea and Pearson Sound, Joy Orbison and Resom are confirmed. Dopplereffekt play live while Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Demdike Stare, Amp Fiddler, A Made Up Sound and Radioactive Man will perform.
The opening concert will be held live on a 2000-year old Roman amphitheatre, with Grace Jones, Moderat, Yussef Kamaal and Moses Boyd on the bill. More names from one of Europe's dreamy music settings will be released later.
