On Saturday 27th October, Drumcode Halloween returns to Tobacco Dock, London. The capital city’s most definitive Halloween party, the annual event always captures the imagination of London’s clubbing community and always sells out weeks in advance.
This year’s line-up is still under lock and key, though we can safely assume that Drumcode boss Adam Beyer will front proceedings as is standard. After his phenomenal B2B with Carl Cox at Junction 2 at the start of June, this will be his next appearance in London. As for who’ll be joining him, who can say? Though it’s safe to say there will be the usual core of label artists mixed with leading techno figureheads and burgeoning young talent.
Adam’s wife Ida Engberg, plus UK talents Alan Fitzpatrick and Dense & Pika are all regulars at the shindig. In the past we have seen the likes of Pan-Pot, Joseph Capriati, Maya Jane Coles and Nicole Moudaber grace the Great Gallery and Car Park, while last year saw debuts from Amelie Lens and Enrico Sangiuliano. One of the best things about the event, is that attendees really go above and beyond the call of duty by getting involved with their fancy dress outfits. Each year we are astounded by the level of detail, intricate designs and dedication to dancing in full costume. Aside from the techno soundtrack, Drumcode Halloween is famed for its immersive theatrical skits – taking attendees deeper into its nightmarish vision.
