Carl Cox has revealed the names joining him for his star-studded takeover of Creamfields’ Steel Yard on Sunday 26th May. Landing in Finsbury Park for a bumper end of May bank holiday weekend, that also sees Eric Prydz’s latest HOLO show, Coxy is bringing the Balearic party vibe to North London with Space Ibiza on tour.

The first name joining him is the man who he lined-up alongside on the fateful night we waved goodbye to Space: Nic Fanciulli. Mentor and student grew quite a reputation for their famed B2B marathons on the terraza at closing parties, so it’s a natural choice to invite the Saved Records boss down. In many ways Nic was the heir in waiting, and the baton was passed down.

Another astute signing is the man Carl Cox christened the “King of the Space Terrace”. Steve Lawler is a certified Ibiza legend best remembered by today’s generation as the man behind Sankeys’ seminal VIVa Warriors parties. But that wasn’t always the case. He made his name on the island further down the road in Playa d’En Bossa.

Two more recent stars from the white isle come in the shape of Eats Everything and FourThirtyTwo boss Richy Ahmed. They might not quite have the legacy of everybody else on the bill, but still add real pedigree to proceedings inside Creamfields’ ominous metal structure. The two have been known to pop-up all over the island, most notably at Wednesday nights at DC10.

Adding some real Ibizan flavour, is island resident and all-round party girl Clara Da Costa. She has held residencies all over Ibiza, but humble Clara caught the Ibiza bug early and holds the honour of being the first recognised female DJ to hold court there - she even had a stint programming Es Paradis back in the day. In the present day, she keeps things more intimate with her Jack House parties - but she still one of the most likeable personalities on an island full of them! A rare opportunity to catch her on UK soil!
