House, Breakbeat, Trance, Techno, Hip-Hop - you name it - Eris Drew can blend it. The Chicago born all-vinyl selector and producer is one of the most exciting artists to emerge in the past few years. The trans ecstatic queen began mixing records at 18 in 1994 and is famous for her long-time residency at Chicago's Smart Bar and DJ for the Bunker NY. Nowadays she can often be seen slaying the controls with her beloved b2b partner Octo Octa. A duo which we’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching blossom and last year established their T4T LUV NRG label together.
Despite having over two decades of music experience under her belt, it wasn’t until 2019 that Eris put out her first collaborative production material. One year later and she has revealed news of her highly anticipated debut solo EP, out on February 14th via Interdimensional Transmissions. The three-track EP titled Fluids Of Emotion was recorded at Drew's family residence in Chicago and mixed in the Interdimensional Laboratories studio in Detroit with BMG.
Some words by Eris below:
"So Much Love To Give' was the first song I sent to BMG and Erika after they asked me (challenged me in fact!) to make a dance record for IT," Drew says. "I wrote [it] months before I left for my first European tour. It was 23 years after the KLF burned a million quid off the island of Jura, and 23 years after I heard a mystical pulsation in the oscillations of a minivan's air conditioner. I hadn't written a dance track in years but during a series of life-changing events in 2017, I would rush home from my sets, turn on my MPC 2000 XL and sample records."

Eris Drew will grace the decks at London’s Junction 2 festival on Friday 5th June. General release tickets are now on sale.
