FOUR TET IS RELEASING HIS TENTH STUDIO ALBUM, SIXTEEN OCEANS

On Friday 5th June London’s premier festival Junction 2 returns for its fifth edition at Boston Manor Park. Spread across two days on 5th and 6th June, it’s set to be their biggest year yet with some of the biggest names in house and techno. Friday is more focused towards electronica and house artists featuring headliners Four Tet, Fatima Yamaha (live) and Jon Hopkins (live) to name a few.

On top of this, festival revellers will be pleased to hear the news that Kieran Hebden aka Four Tet has announced plans to release his tenth studio album in March. Titled Sixteen Oceans, it will be his first new album since New Energy, released in 2017. However this hasn’t been a two year hiatus entirely, since he also released two live albums following shows at Funkhaus Berlin and London’s Alexandra Palace. It’s safe to say it's been a busy couple of years for the DJ and producer - big up’s Kieren!

In classic Four Tet style he’s kept fans on their toes by not sharing all the details, including the label it’s to be released on. However we do know the tracklisting which features last year’s release ’Teenage Birdsong’ plus the new single ‘Baby’.

Listen below and stay tuned for more details:
