Since it's inception in the summer of 2015, Into the Woods has very quickly established itself as one of East London's most revered underground parties. With roots firmly planted in the forests of Hackney Wick, it has since expanded to takeover some of London's most interesting spaces.
From bus garages to abandoned mechanics garages, Into the Woods always seem to find the craziest, most refreshing spaces to throw parties in London, not something so easy to come by. By throwing pop-up parties and raves in warehouses and similar locations, they have also proved that it doesn’t take a huge production budget to throw a great event – many of the venues speak for themselves. These unique locations plus a firm understanding of what makes the brand so special – the way they bring people together - explains why the atmosphere is so good.
Into The Woods controversial guest list only policy has also proven to be successful for the up-and- coming brand – partygoers must message the promoters for a ticket link. The ability to refine the attendees of the event creates an exclusive event with a fitting crowd – but don’t get it wrong, this isn’t reserved for VIP’s or ‘the beautiful people’, the party embraces truly likeminded souls in any shape or form.
Focusing heavily on the groovier side of minimal house and techno, Into The Wood’s DJs include a carefully selected core of residents from across Europe. Previous guests have included Anthea, Adam Shelton, Djebali, Julian Perez and Dan Andrei.
Of their upcoming guests, Alex Celler (Greece) has had huge success with his EP ‘Haz’ on Trelik records. Scott Kemp (UK) has released on imprints such as Mobilee and Arupa as well as running his own label LDN. Tarek Charbonnier (France) and Analoq head-honcho Kolo & Dyze (UK) also regularly feature at Into The Woods’ events.
You can catch Into The Woods as they host room 2 at Printworks London for Luciano & Friends. Alex Celler, Brett Jacobs, Scott Kemp, Kolo & Dyze, Tarek Charbonnier and G. Walker will all be representing the east London brand.
