Forever keeping busy, Hannah Wants has announced a new UK & Ireland tour for the start of 2019.
Beginning in February in Belfast, What Hannah Wants will stop at 14 further destinations before the end of March - with several shows, including Leeds, Swansea and her hometown gig in Birmingham already sold out. Although she has played huge arenas previously, this latest tour will differ in being held exclusively at more intimate venues. In addition, Hannah will play three hour sets at each date.
A few highlights include Index in Dublin on 2nd February, Bloc, London (23rd Feb), Cosmic Ballroom, Newcastle (1st March) and The Vaults, Cardiff (9th March). Though it’s her visits to the south coast that always go down as legendary. She drops into Patterns, Brighton on 16th March. There are also visits to Southampton, Bath and Aberdeen.
Back in September, the Brum star revealed that she had spent the past 18-months battling breast cancer. Fortunately, the disease was in remission, with Hannah stating positive lifestyle choices made during her recovery had given her a fresh outlook on life and renewed career focus. Following, she announced plans to launch her own label. Etiquette was to fill the void between house and bass music. Already the burgeoning imprint has spawned three singles - all from Hannah herself. You can check out all three tracks below. Hannah intends for Etiquette to be a home for developing new artists, as well as her own productions, with a release from Greek Vangelis Kostoxenakis in the pipeline.
