Following on from their 10,000 person strong summer celebration, Hospitality In The Park, Hospitality are returning to Tobacco Dock, to host the first ever drum ‘n’ bass event inside the unique grade 1 listed warehouse space.
Across five hand-picked spaces, Hospitality will be bringing the best in drum ‘n’ bass to east London’s dockside, alongside world class MCs, vocalists and live acts as well street food and stunning production.
London has a long history of hosting Hospitality events, ever since Hospital Records inaugurated back in 1996, formed by Tony Colman and Chris Goss. Not long after the first Hospitality event took place at Herbal way circa 2001. After five years of monthly shindigs at the east end sweatbox, Hospitality took the giant leap to super club Heaven for quarterly parties, which instantly became legendary stuff. Matter became the new home for Hospitality in 2008 and after nine completely sold out parties, they moved once again, this time to the 4,500- cap Brixton 02 Academy.
Now Hospitality are returning back east, and although Tobacco Dock is traditionally known for its prodigious house and techno events, the space will be more than accommodating for the drum ‘n’ bass hosts.
The drum ‘n’ bass specialists will be bringing Hospital records head honcho’s London Elektricity, Nu: Logic, Maduk, Danny Byrd and Fred V & Graffix dockside for the first ever party. With more names set to be announced soon, this one is shaping up to become historical.
