Formed in 2007, London based party brand Entice has established a strong reputation as a leading club brand - specialising in house, club classics and old skool garage events in Ibiza and London, with the likes of DJ EZ, Oxide & Neutrino, DJ S.K.T, Robert Owens and Grant Nelson pass through it’s doors in recent years. We caught up with the team behind the events to find out what they’re all about and what they have in store for us over the coming months… amongst other things!
Tell us a little bit about Entice - where the name came from and how the concept came together…
Entice formed back in 2007 and around that time there wasn't that many multi genre events so we was looking to break a niche in the market and have music from all different genres merge together under one event. I had a few DJs in mind but not a brand name, so after a day or two of brainstorming we came up with a name that I thought worked perfectly and then Entice was born. It started off as a moored boat party in Battersea then grew and move into bars and then into some of the best clubs in London.
Where do you throw your parties and what guests do you have coming up soon?
Our parties are mainly based in London but we have also had parties in Ibiza and have a few planned in Brighton later this year. Some of the venues we work with include Lightbox, The Qube Project, Konnect, Fu Manchu and Gigalum.
Some of the artists we have coming up include:
Dj Luck & MC Neat
Fonti & Mighty Moe… plus a few other surprise guests to be announced.
Tell us about some of your guest DJs, past and future… any particularly memorable sets?
If i had to pick two of our most memorable sets, the first would have to be DJ EZ & MC PSG’s set @ The White House back in 2012, The set was unbelievable and the crowd was buzzing, haven't seen an atmosphere like that in years.
The second would have to be MC MIGHTY MOE and SPIN E B’s set at Plan B last year - It was possibly the best set i’v ever since at Entice... Mighty Moe was going hard over garage instrumentals and got the crowd very hyped. It was nothing but great party vibes throughout the night, he even had a little karaoke going with the crowd which was something i’v never seen at Entice. Definitely my 2 most memorable sets.
As for the artists we’ve had at Entice there are too many to list all of them but here are a few..
DJ EZ, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Oxide & Neutrino, Artful Dodger, Bodyrox, Grant Nelson, Bobby and Steve, Jonathan Ulysses (Space, Ibiza), DJ Pioneer (Kiss Fm), Matt “Jam” Lamont, Abigail Bailey, Heartless Crew, Pied Piper & MC DT, Robert Owens, Mike “Ruff Cut” Lloyd, Loose Cannons, Soul Purpose (Defected), Le Roi, MC Versatile, Footloose, Philgood and Ram, MC KIE, MC DT, Marcus Nasty (Rinse FM), DJ S.K.T (Sony / Audio Rehab), Mark Radford (Audio Rehab) and Funk Butcher.
