Big festival news hot off the press: Junction 2 is expanding to 2-days in 2019! The dates you need to make a note of are Friday 7th June & Saturday 8th June.
We’re expecting the first artists announcement to follow in the next few weeks. Judging by the line-ups we saw in 2016, 2017 and 2018, we’re confident in saying that we expect it to be huge. Already Junction 2 has delivered the likes of Carl Cox, Nina Kraviz, Tale Of Us, Maceo Plex and Recondite, to give you some idea of the calibre we are talking about.
If you thought that years one to three were big, then the fourth edition is set to eclipse all the instalments that preceded it.
Talent aside, Junction 2 has grown a loyal following through sticking to its core principles of putting an emphasis on high-quality sound, having strictly no VIP area, extended set times and dispensing with the tired big-top format. The venue itself is a real treasure - a place where nature and inner-city construction collide. Including music stages assimilated into the park’s features, arguably Boston Manor Park’s biggest selling point is The Bridge stage located directly under the M4 motorway. A rare example of an outdoor stage in the UK where the volume can be ramped up.
If you can’t wait until June, then don’t forget that the festival launches with a special Day & Night celebration this winter. Taking over Tobacco Dock by day and fabric by night, clear your diary for Saturday 29th December. Adam Beyer will play two sets - one at each venue, while Dixon, Âme and Amelie Lens are also all confirmed. Fourth release tickets on sale now.
