On 29th December, Junction 2 embarked on the second edition of their annual launch party at Tobacco Dock, ahead of the highly anticipated festival in June.
Taking over the Car Park was Drumcode boss Adam Beyer, who played an extended 3 hour set alongside Joel Mull and Uakoz. Meanwhile over in the Gallery, Âme played a seamlessly slick b2b with Rødhåd which did not disappoint the crowd for their UK debut set. Contrasting to her previous sets at Tobacco Dock which normally see her closing the car park, Belgian techno queen Amelie Lens took full charge closing the Gallery in true Lens fashion - blistering techno bombs until the end.
Meanwhile in the Great Gallery, one of our stand out performances was Afterlife affiliates Mind Against, who delivered the perfect transition over to Dixon, who last but not least rounded things off nicely to a jam packed room of 3,500 J2 revellers.
Overall, it was the perfect warm up to get the new year under way, and left us eager and even more intrigued for the fourth edition of the main event taking place at Boston Manor Park across two days on Friday 7th June and Saturday 8th June.
