On Saturday 2nd December, Love International takes over WHP, hosting dance music legends such as Larry Heard, Laurent Garnier, Joy Orbison, Craig Richards and Crazy P, to name a few. Following on from a busy summer tour in Europe, Frenchman Laurent Garnier headlines the main room for the first time since October 2016.
With 25 years of experience under his belt, he is one of the most pioneering DJs of the dance music scene. Garnier has experienced all of it first-hand, from the 1980’s Acid House movement in Manchester, to DJing on Radio FG in the 1990s, leading on to his creation of Pedro’s Broadcasting Basement in 2003. Not to mention his biography Electrochoc that was released back in 2003 telling his musical story, experiences and memories from the early beginnings of his career. Even to this day Laurent shows no signs of slowing down - as a DJ he’s always on the move, and his production history dates back from 1991 to this year, following the release of his Tribute EP on Kompakt Extra.
It’s no wonder Boiler Room picked Garnier to headline their first party in Brussels last week. For those who missed it you can catch up on his 3 hour marathon set below, ahead of his set at Love International x WHP in December.
