Berlin-based DJ and producer Len Faki has become one of the contemporary techno scene’s leading lights since making his debut in the early 2000s. For years he’s been respected by peers and by fans alike across the world, and has held a residency at Berlin’s infamous Berghain club since just after it opened 2004. Not only does he hold a residency at one of the world’s eminent nightclubs, but he’s also the founder and curator-in-chief of legendary techno imprint, Figure.
Since launching the label in 2003, Figure has hosted artists such as Radio Slave, Carl Cox and Truncate to name a few, and to celebrate the 15th year since its inception he’s releasing a special compilation.
Their next release, ‘FIGURE 100’, will indeed be the 100th release on the label (hence the name of the title), and will feature 17 tracks compiled by the likes of Pablo Mateo, Truncate, Roman Poncet, Lady Starlight, Juxta Position, Setaoc Mass, kirilik (AKA KiNK) and more.
The compilation will be available on vinyl or digital formats, and is out on September 17th. Preview one of the tracks titled Robot Evolution below.
If want to see legendary Len showcase his excellence behind the decks then catch him at Sonus Festival in Croatia later this summer. Second release tickets are almost sold out, so be quick!
