Once again finding home at the stunning setting of Fort Punta Cristo, Outlook has been at the heart of bass culture for a decade plus. Paying homage to the roots of soundsystem culture, it’s the essential Croatian festival for bass fanatics. A mecca for artists and audiophiles alike. All bases are covered as the whole spectrum of bass music is represented. Attendees will be treated to a glittering selection of reggae, dubstep, bass, grime, D&B, house, garage, dub, soul and hip-hop. Expect a dark, deep exploration related genres, where heavy-hitters sit alongside emerging talent. Now we can reveal the second wave of artists for their 2018 edition.
Running-down our highlights from the 80+ names announced South London rapper Nadia Rose will be bringing some serious London heat, while dancehall lord Johnny Osbourne will provide his trademark reggae jams. For D&B fans there’s plenty of high-tempo energy.
The star-studied additions include Outlook favourites Goldie and the Original Nuttah Shy FX. On the UKG front, the legendary MJ Cole returns along with Zed Bias. Flowdan and Spooky join the stellar grime crew. Bristolian dubstep peddlers Dubkasm are also on board, along with reps from the Deep Medi and Chestplate camps. And there’s still room for Manchester’s own Dub Phizix, Strategy, Chimpo & Chunky.
