Recondite has returned with new music. Real name Lorenz Brunner, the musician’s profile is rising on European’s techno circuit. Even if you are aware of the artist, chances are you’ve shared a dancefloor moment to one his productions. He has been the man behind sleeper hits including Caldera, Hinterland and Duolo. He’s released on a plethora of underground labels, including Dystopian and Hotflush, and in 2016 he launched his own imprint, Plangent.
Rainmaker will be released via Afterlife on 30th May.
The live set master has becoming increasingly synonymous with Tale Of Us’ label. He has played at their club shows across Europe and beyond, including in Ibiza, Tulum and at Printworks. Although he has contributed to both of their previous roster compilations in the Realm of Consciousness series, this represents his first solo EP on the label. At six tracks long, this is almost a mini-album. So fans of the German producer will be more than satisfied.
The EP features the stripped-back, atmospheric and brooding tones that Recondite has become known for. However, it is the more club-focused closing track, Arcane, which is our pick of the bunch and the track we suspect will do the most damage on dancefloors this summer.
All 6 tracks are available to preview below, so check them out.
In the meantime, Recondite returns to Zrce Beach, Pag Island, Croatia as Sonus looks to steal the European summer festival headlines once again. He lines up alongside a wealth of talent, including Adam Beyer, Marco Carola, Sonja Moonear and Tale Of Us themselves.
2nd release tickets are available now.
