Last Night On Earth is commemorating its 100th official release with a remix package featuring eleven cuts from the label’s archives. Having been launched back in 2011, its hard to believe we have already reached a pivotal milestone for Sasha’s increasingly influential imprint. Over the course of the past eight years, LNOE has released some truly compelling music. Who can’t forget Sasha’s own stunning rework of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Innerbloom, his 2018 collab with La Fleur or even the debut release Cut Me Down, which served as the IMS anthem for that summer.
The compilation includes a new version of the latter, plus three more Sasha tracks as well music from Henry Saiz, Ejeca, Max Cooper, Kate Simko and more. Amongst the guest remixers, fans can find contributions from LNOE favourites Fur Coat and John Monkman, while there are debuts for Radio Slave, Locked Groove and Frankey & Sandrino. Nicole Moudaber, dubspeeka and Yotto are three more high profile names.
In a career littered with highs, this can be considered another feather in Sasha’s cap. Not content with curating a peerless label, the legendary Welsh DJ continues to tour and break new ground. 2019 will be no different as he lines-up at Arcadia London 2019. Having given us so many fond memories in outdoor fields around London down the years, this will be another to add to the list. Alongside Jamie Jones, Hot Since 82, Dave Clarke and the 50-tonne animatronic spider, Sasha will be the special guest on Saturday 4th May. Helix is Arcadia’s house and techno heartbeat as the immersive festival experience returns to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London over May Day Bank Holiday weekend.
Last Night On Earth’s 100th Remix Compilation will be released digitally on Friday 15th February.
2nd release tickets for Arcadia London 2019 are on sale now.
