SITE FOCUS: ABODE IN THE PARK, STAGE BY STAGE

After conquering the world from Amsterdam to Ibiza, Malta to Uganda, the Party of the People ABODE is heading back to where it all began. The ruling party brand created by the ravers for the ravers, returns to London on Sunday 22nd September for the third edition of its annual festival. ABODE In the Park has gone from strength-to-strength in three short years. As the generation-defining brand looks to celebrate five years of epic parties, let’s put the festival site in Finsbury Park under focus and talk you through the various stages.

To talk you through the walkthrough, we’re going to tackle the circuit in a clockwise motion in every decreasing circles. Basically, we’re going to walk the perimeter first and end up slapbang in the middle of the site. Just a pointer though, lockers and drinks tokens will be immediately on the doorstep as you enter. Going through the gates and hugging left we’re first going to come across the Secret Garden.

The Secret Garden 🌳

Set within the natural beauty of the venue, it isn’t so much that the arena itself is secret, moreso that the talent on offer is demanding to be discovered. There might not be international headliners playing here, but there’s definitely some gems on display. Kellie Allen and Joe Baxter are two we think you should check-out.

Food Court 🍔

Next, we come to the food court. Let’s face it, you probably haven’t come for the dining options - and neither have we. However, we’re gonna need some fuel to stomp the whole way to curfew. You won’t be short on choice either. Gourmet burgers, pimped chips, cheesy delights, vegan food - you’ll find it all. Nobody goes hungry. Shortly after the food trucks and street stalls, you’re going to find the giant “ABODE” and “A” signs - cameras at the ready for those essential Instagram crew photos. It’s practically obligatory.

HotBed - VIP Area 🍾

The next music area we come to just so happens to be the VIP area - and if you’re feeling plush, then you won’t be disappointed. Unlike other festivals where the VIP is an afterthought with some local mercenaries playing because they sold most tickets, ABODE has handed control into the capable hands of sister unit, HotBed. Discerning house music for a discerning crowd. You know what to expect here: luxury toilets, premium cocktails, comfy seating and a soundtrack brought to you by seasoned DJs and skillful musicians.

Nothing Else Matters - The Greenhouse 🎤

Jump on the ferris wheel before we get to our next stage, The Greenhouse. It’s here where Danny Howards’ Nothing Else Matter label has taken over. Expect temperatures to soar with sun-soaked summer anthems dispensed by the likes of Secondcity, Mark Knight and Weiss. Proper vocal bangers that you can’t help but sing along to. That’s a full lap complete, so now we head into the centre. The arched domes of the Tri-span tent are calling.

CATCH & RELEASE - Tri-Span 🎣

With multiple entrances and a crucifix-like shape, this unique looking stage will play home to festival headliner FISHER and his CATCH & RELEASE label. Sure to prove popular, this stage can hold a lot of people and has been bolstered with a custom spec. Inside, the design ensures for an unrivalled sonic experience, although it also means that those outside won’t miss out on the action.

Techno Warehouse - The Big Top

Continuing around and inward, we next get to the Big Top - and the sounds of techno. No frills, no gimmicks, just incredible pounding music that does the talking all by itself. Paco Osuna headlines, meaning we can guarantee a white-knuckle finish.

ABODE Main Stage 👑

Lastly, we reach the very epicentre of the site: the ABODE Main Stage. This is what ABODE is all about - the defining sound by the defining cast. All of the residents - Artikal, Ellie Cocks, GW Harrison and Will Taylor - are showcased here, alongside a glittering array of faces from ABODE’s past. Richy Ahmed has played countless times, Nic Fanciulli appeared at the first Halloween party and wAFF? Well, he closed ABODE’s very first party.

Of course, there will be extras scattered around the site - so it’s always worth exploring.

Final release tickets are on sale now. Hurry though - only 10% of all tickets now remain.
