Last weekend, London’s biggest underground promoter’s LWE launched the first edition of their brand new five part series, Sphere. The debut kicked off at the 3,000 capacity Magazine venue located in Greenwich and operated by the Broadwick Live team behind Printworks and The Drumsheds. The state-of-the-art blank canvas warehouse designed with the modular user in mind made it the perfect space to demonstrate Sphere’s sound.
Young new talent and recently appointed E1 London club resident Effy got things off to an impressive start before handing over to the very special guest and award-winning artist Maya Jane Coles. By 6pm the dance floor was in full swing for everybody’s favourite Bristolian DJ Eats Everything who stepped up with a full spectrum of house and techno pumpers. Closing things down was none other than tech house sensation Hot Since 82 who tore the roof off with an impeccable finale set.
Overall, young revellers showed no signs of disappointment despite a few production knock-backs from storm Dennis. Ultimately, if the sound and vibe are on point, everything else is a bonus.

We can’t wait see what techno heavy weights Maceo Plex, Marcel Dettmann and more bring to the arena this Saturday 22nd February.
Final tickets are on sale now starting from £19.50. Who’s in?
