Following a monumental first two-years, bass fanatics Sunbourne x Moondance festival returns to picturesque Hainault Forest Country Park on Sunday 30th June. 2019’s edition will see over 100 artists from the worlds of D&B, garage and old skool split across five stages for the ultimate midsummer rave.
Ideally located on the outer limits of the city, right on the border with Essex, the site is the convergence point of inner city and countryside. Stage hosts include AWOL, Garage Nation, Breakin’ Science and Epidemik.
The outdoor stage is set to feature a who’s who of junglists, from Congo Natty under his Rebel MC guise, Fabio & Grooverider, Micky Finn and Randall, to UK Apache, Skibadee Shabba, Ragga Twins, Jumpin Jack Frost, Nicky Blackmarket and Uncle Dugs.
The second stage will showcase the acquired tones of UKG. Veterans such as Artful Dodger and DJ Luck & MC Neat will be joined by Mike Delinquent and many more. Host MCs include MC Creed, Kie and DT.
Elsewhere, Majistrate, Eksman, Logan D, IC3 and Harry Shotta will be holding things down for Breakin Science, with a headline slot for three-piece collaborative outfit Shadow Demon Coalition.
There’s still more to be crammed in, with Ratpack and Brandon Block mucking in, whilst Slipmatt will play a special 30 years of rave set and Billy Daniel Bunter a set exclusively made of tracks from 88-89.
More than enough bassy goodness to keep the most devout of ravers satisfied. Rolling from midday through the 22:00, that’s ten hours of open air riddims and rattlers.
Second release tickets are on sale now - a steal at just £20.00 +BF.
