Since the launch only a handful of years ago, each year has proven fruitful for one of the capital's leading club brands – The Hydra. Following their fifth anniversary series last year, 2017 is business as usual with a handful of events showcasing the best talents in the electronic music industry, notably at London's new establishment, Printworks.
The Hydra Presents: Printworks is set to bedazzle club-goers this April 22. Excitement is already building with the announcement of the newly released line-up, including Germany's finest DJ Koze headlining. The producer was voted by readers of Germany's SPEX magazine as the DJ Of The Year for a mighty six years running between 1999 – 2004; an accolade fitting for the German's success spanning over 30 years. Also taking headline billing is fellow countryman Motor City Drum Ensemble. Parisian talent Jeremy Underground makes his way with Antal and resident Dolan Bergin set to bless the Easter period.
Before this, British sensation Joy Orbison comes to south-east London's Dockland's venue - the London-based producer is part of the line-up for March 4th’s show: ‘The Hydra Presents’, alongside Daphni and familiar face Floating Points, who has played for The Hydra before in 2016.
It's certainly an enthralling year for the busy team behind Printworks. The new multi-level 16 acre institution kicks off a number of stellar events this year starting with the Launch Extravaganza in less than a month’s time - part of twelve events scheduled for this year so far. On February 04, London comes together to celebrate life for a blockbuster day, with extended back to back sets featuring industry aces Seth Troxler, The Martinez Brothers and Loco Dice.
