SG Lewis is the Scouse singer/songwriter/producer sensation who has racked up 50 million plays on Spotify. Plucked from obscurity by Disclosure and put on their PMR record label, after they discovered his unofficial remix to Jessie Ware ‘You & I’, he has since won more plaudits for other leading industry figureheads.
As well as being a vocalist himself, the burgeoning young producer has collaborated with Toulouse, Col3trane, Louis Mattrs and perhaps most notably JP Cooper, of Perfect Strangers/September Song fame.
Incorporating elements of R&B and electronic music in his productions, Annie Mac was the next mogul to jump on the SG Lewis hype. First she championed his track Warm, before including it in her charity compilation Sunset Mix, then invited him to play at her Annie Mac Presents Dalt Vila parties in Ibiza.
Now SG is pulling all his disciplines together to form his own all-encompassing live show. Stopping at Printworks new 3,000 live venue event space in Canada Water on Friday 7th December, the Liverpudlian will perform material from his new three-part album Dust/Dark/Dawn. Using tempo and genre to tell the story of a night in a club, you can expect to hear everything from disco and house to R&B and ambient.
