Pioneer, curator, producer, selector and radio host, Toddla T, has made quite the name for himself across the musical spectrum. After the success of his two-day stage ‘Toddla T & King SSP Sound’ at Notting Hill Carnival, we unquestionably know that he is capable off is throwing a damn good party!
Luckily, the weather isn’t stopping Toddla, as he’s back to host his efficacious Winter Carnival at Oval Space, come December 3 rd . Inspired by the celebration, vibe and music that Notting Hill has to provide, last year’s Winter Carnival was a colossal accomplishment, delivering on authentic set production, great selectors and huge sound.
Toddla is renowned for his eclectic curation and regularly features globally renowned artists across his events and BBC Radio 1 show, some of whom he has invited to join him at Oval Space this December. Felow BBC presenter Charlie Sloth makes the cut – bringing his brand of grime and bass to the gathering, as well as Nadia Rose, Shola Ama, Manny Norte, Donaeo, Abra Cadabra and of course, King SSP sound.
And if that wasn’t enough grime for you, British grime crew, Roll Deep will also be making an appearance at the Winter Carnival. Founded in 2002 by Wiley, the crew recorded, released and distributed a number of mix tapes and vinyl singles before getting their first number 1 hit in 2010 with ‘Good Times’. Former members in Wiley, Tinchy Stryder and Dizzee Rascal have all gone on to be globally renowned acts.
