On 3rd February, Shut The Front Door return with a sizzling 2018 opening fiesta at London’s Electric Brixton, inviting house music legend Lil’Louis and disco digger Jeremy Underground for a night to remember.

Chicago based DJ and producer Louis Burns aka Lil’Louis is renowned as the legendary father of house music, and the man behind the global underground hit ‘French Kiss’, released on Polygram in 1989. In 2015 he was involved in an accident which left him with severe hearing damage, and since then he’s been off the radar dedicating himself to the studio. It’s been six years since Louis released his last LP ‘Two Sides To Every Story’, but it’s emerged that he has plans to release six back-to-back albums this year.

In the anticipation of his new material, and as a teaser for his rare appearance at Shut The Front Door’s opening fiesta, we’ve chosen our top five classic Lil’Louis tracks, check them out below:

Lil Louis - French Kiss

Lil Louis "Club Lonely (Lonely People)"

Lil Louis Blackout

Lil Louis -Why'd U Fall ( I called you)

Lil' Louis - Jazzmen

Don’t miss your chance to see two of the finest selectors in house and disco and join Shut The Front Door for a boogie at their opening fiesta on Saturday 3rd February. Second release tickets on sale now.
