Since its inception, UKG Brunch has been a cultural revolution. Not only has it helped kickstart a UK-wide garage revival, but it has spawned a thousand imitators all seeking to jump on the party “brunch” bandwagon. Each clone equipped with their own tediously different prefix handle. Well, they do say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! Few can deny that the blend of nostalgic tunes, madcap games and bottomless food and drink is anything but a winning formula. Turning the ripe old age of two is therefore a landmark worth spitting bars about - and a birthday is just an extra excuse to dust off the gladrags and descend into chicken wing-fuelled anarchy.

First thing’s first, UKG Brunch have gone big with their choice of venue. London institution Ministry Of Sound has been chosen to host proceedings. It's one of the world's best soundsystems with 4 dancefloors and a large outdoor area, that already gives plenty of antic options. Secondly, is the format itself has been tweaked. The saying goes, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” so regulars needn’t panic: the unlimited supply of fried food, chips and rum punch remains, and can be enjoyed from doors open at midday until the klaxon at 2pm. But it’s afterwards when things get interesting…

Rolling through until 8pm, brunchers can forget their worries and reminisce with an All Day Rave! Basically, we’re gonna be 2-stepping all the way until lights-up.

Garage A-listers can been called upon for the occasion. Soul sensation Shola Ama will be performing a live PA and she’ll be joined by DJs including Masterstepz, Mike Ruff Cut, Cartier, Spine E B and Listener. Of course, it wouldn’t be a UKG Brunch without the best hype men in the game. MC Creed, DT, Viper and Kofi B are all in the house, with hosting duties in the safe hands of Aurie Styla and BBBrown. In short, it’s going to be ruckus.

Various ticket types are on sale now, including VIP and party-only options.
